This morning, your adventure begins with a warm welcome in front of The Restaurant Fuji , where friendly cruise staff will guide you on a delightful ship tour. Get to know your hosts and explore the hidden treasures of your floating paradise. Feeling playful? Enjoy a round of marble games with fellow guests or stretch out your sea legs at a fun and lively country line dance class —a perfect blend of rhythm and laughter to kick off your voyage. As afternoon rolls in, the atmosphere comes alive with the Captain’s Welcome Party at the Ocean Stage , accompanied by the vibrant Mitsui Ocean Fuji House Band . Raise your glass to fresh horizons and new friendships as music fills the air. Then, under the night sky, settle in for an elegant classical production show featuring the brilliant Mitsui Ocean Fuji Singers & Dancers , joined by the house band in a spectacle of lights, sound, and artistry. Yakushima

Uncover the spirit of northern Japan in Akita, where ancient traditions meet stunning coastal views. Witness the fierce Namahage ritual at Namahage Hall and Ogashinzan Denshokan, where folklore comes alive through dramatic exhibits and performances. Ascend Kanpuzan Rotating Observatory, offering sweeping 360° viewa of the Sea of Japan and surrounding mountains. Akita promises a rich blend of myth, culture, and natural wonder. Kanpuzan Rotating Observatory: perched atop a verdant volcano, for a breathtaking 360° view of the Sea of Japan, Mount Chokai, and the Shirakami Mountains Namahage Hall and Ogashinzan Denshokan: here the fierce straw-clad Namahage ogres come to life through immersive exhibits and live performances that celebrate this UNESCO-recognized folk ritual

Nagasaki

Nagasaki Historical Highlights Tour Overview: Visit the Atomic Bomb Museum, with over 900 artifacts indicative of the city’s devastation, as well as displays on modern nuclear technology and concerns. As you browse the displays, you will learn about the city’s culture before the bomb struck and the aftermath of the atomic blast. You can expect to see photographs of the widespread destruction to buildings such as the Urakami Cathedral and neighborhoods that were reduced to ruins. Nagasaki’s Peace Park commemorates the city’s destruction by the plutonium bomb dropped on August 9, 1945. Although Fat Man, the name given to the second bomb dropped on Japan, missed its target by over a mile and a half, it leveled nearly half the city. The park’s main attraction is its collection of statues and sculptures donated by countries and groups all over the world. This includes the massive Peace Memorial Statue depicting a man with his right arm pointing to the sky to indicate the continued threat of nuclear destruction. A short walk will take you to Hypocenter. Dejima was once an artificial island in the port of Nagasaki. It played an important role in the development of culture, industry, and science in Japan by serving as a gateway to the West. Several Dejima's historical structures have been restored to its 19th century state during the Edo period and are part of Dejima Historical Museum. Glover Garden is located on a hill overlooking the port of Nagasaki. It was the former residence of Thomas Blake Glover, a Scottish merchant who played a key role in Japan’s modernization during the Meiji Restoration. Glover Garden is not just a historical site but a symbol of Japan’s opening to the world and modernization in the 19th century. Note : Glover Garden is located on the hill and guests will need to walk up steep hill. If any guests wish to skip this, they can leave the tour and make their own way back to the ship. Glover Garden is located nearby the ship, and it will be the very last stop of the tour. Atomic Bomb Museum includes exhibits of sensitive material including graphic pictures and displays on the atrocities of war.

Jeju

Highlights of Jeju Duration: 4 Hours Activity Level: Strenuous Featured Sites: Sunrise Peak (Seongsan Ilchulbong), Haenyeo Diver Museum Tour Overview Embark on a dynamic exploration of Jeju’s natural and cultural heritage during this 4-hour excursion. Begin at Sunrise Peak (Seongsan Ilchulbong) , a UNESCO World Heritage site formed by volcanic eruptions over 100,000 years ago. Guests will ascend the steep trail to the crater rim, rewarded with sweeping views of the island and the surrounding sea—a challenging but unforgettable climb. Continue to the Haenyeo Diver Museum , dedicated to Jeju’s legendary women divers who have sustained coastal communities for centuries through their remarkable free-diving traditions. Exhibits highlight their resilience, tools, and cultural significance, offering a rare glimpse into this unique way of life. This excursion combines physical adventure with cultural discovery—ideal for guests seeking both challenge and insight into Jeju’s enduring spirit.

Embrace a day at sea filled with cultural discovery and relaxation. Try your hand at watercolor art, origami, or join the Rakugo storytelling workshop. Treat yourself at KODAMA Wellness or ask our staff for assistance in wearing a Yukata for a traditional touch. As night falls, be captivated by our dazzling production show featuring live music and dance. A complete schedule of activities will be available at Port and Starboard and in your stateroom.
