SPA & WELLNESS KODAMA merges the harmony of nature with the art of wellness, allowing guests the time to take care of oneself in body and mind. From the moment they enter the Harmony Lounge featuring warm thermal beds, therapeutic showers, saunas, to exclusive treatments and restorative fitness classes, they will leave revitalized and ready to continue their beautiful encounters with Japan.

Japanese-Inspired Massage Therapies:

  • Arashiyama Bamboo: Warm bamboo shoots, soaked in essential oils, roll and massage the body and melt cares away.

  • Camellia Japonica:  Relax as soothing techniques infused with the aroma of Japanese Camellia Oil transport the mind to faraway places.

  • Jade Stone: Heated and cooled Jade stones applied to energy points enhance circulation, relieve stress, and promote deep relaxation.

 

Harmony Lounge Private Thermal Suite:

This luxurious retreat features heated loungers, sauna and steam rooms. Guests can connect in a couples’ massage or use the peaceful space to find joy in the quiet atmosphere.  

 

Fitness and Mindfulness:

  • Zen Meditation: Cultivate mindfulness through focused breathing to balance the body.

  • Slow-Flow Yoga: Designed for all skill levels, this class enhances balance and concentration.

  • Sunrise Stretch: Start the day with dynamic and static stretches to improve mobility and flexibility while on the open deck and breathing in the fresh salt air.

Guests may also exercise in the Motion and Fitness Studios with a full array of cardio equipment, weights and various classes featuring Pilates, cycling and personal training.

 

Guests staying in Penthouse Spa Suite accommodations receive a complimentary pass to a yoga class, smoothies, complimentary use of the Harmony Lounge Private Thermal Suite, and in-suite use of the Technogym Fitness Case featuring an exercise mat, power and loop bands, foam roller, mobility ball and a library of training videos.
